A baby is recovering in hospital after she was found in a trash-filled ditch covered in flies.
Just hours after she was born, a sanitation worker found the baby girl in the stinky ditch in the Sichuan province of China, as per reports.
She was found with her face, ear canals, nostrils and hair full of fly eggs and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
A hole in her head where her skull was visible was bleeding. Miraculously this baby is in a stable condition.
Now police are questioning the baby’s 17-year-old mother and 46-year-old grandmother.
