It’s so important that you read to your children from a very early age. To get them used to looking at books when they are very young will set them on the right path for life.
What’s also a great treat for kids is hanging out with grandma; who else is as patient and as fun as grandma? This little boy got a real treat when his grandma decided to read him a book called “The Wonky Donkey.”
This adorable grandma, from Scotland, U.K. had never read the book, written by New Zealander Craig Smith. Suffice to say the video of her reaction has gone viral and when you see it, you’ll understand why.
When she opens the book and starts reading, she has no idea the unexpected turn the book is about to take and watching her try and hold it together so she can finish it for her sweet grandson is priceless.
Thank goodness mom was recording the story-time session as she captured the most adorable sight. I don’t know what’s funnier: the grandma’s infectious laughter or the baby’s expression. This boy has no idea why his grandma has lost it!
Grandma begins to read the book about the Wonky Donkey but as the story goes on she cannot contain her laughter as the Wonky Donkey’s name starts to change, each time becoming funnier than the last.
Grandma’s laugh is so contagious and has reduced so many people to tears of laughter. It’s been viewed more than 140,000 times on YouTube. I wish I’d had this book when my kids were babies.
