Devastated mother remembers her daughter murdered in a motel in Richmond.

Sadly and tragically, a girl died on Friday from injuries caused by a brutal sexual assault in a Virginia motel, police said Tuesday.

Nariah Brown’s 17-month-old mother, Aija Brown, told WTVR that she left her daughter in a motel room with someone she trusted.

When he picked her up again, Aija discovered that her daughter had been violently assaulted.

The police confirmed that a person interested in the case was imprisoned in the alleged attack on May 8.

According to a WTVR report, a person was arrested by US Marshals for a violation of probation.

The mother, Aija Brown, spoke with CBS 6 Crime Insider Jon Burkett after the death of his daughter. Nariah Brown was 17 months old.

“I was always going to do something to protect her,” Brown said.

“She never did anything to anyone. I was not an annoying baby. I was loving. Nariah went to the strangers embracing them and smiling at them. “

Nariah was Brown’s only daughter and the girl had a difficult start in life. He was born prematurely and, for three months, he struggled to live.

According to Aija, he never missed a day in the hospital. She always told her baby that she would never leave her side. A promise that he said he kept until the end.

“I was giving my baby CPR in the back seat,” Brown said. “Because I thought I was not breathing.”

Nariah had a brilliant personality and was like many other children her age.

“I loved puppies and dogs,” said Brown. “She would say ‘woof-woof’, I was really learning to talk.”

Aija trusts her family to get support and love to help her continue without Nariah’s smile.

At the moment, no one has been charged yet in the death of Nariah. The charges are expected to be announced soon, according to WTVR sources.

The cause and manner of Nariah’s death have not yet been disclosed. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.

There will be a vigil for Nariah on Tuesday night; family members thank for donations to help pay for funeral expenses.
