Bruce Willis, star of ‘Die Hard’ series, poses for holiday pictures with children and ex, actress Demi Moore

This past Tuesday, Demi Moore shared a somewhat surprising festive family photo on Instagram.

Cradled in the arms of fellow actor and former husband Bruce Willis, Demi smiles next to Willis’s current wife, Emma Heming.

Children are in the picture as well: Bruce and Demi’s daughters, Rumer (34) and Scout (31), stand alongside his and Emma’s children, Mabel (10) and Evelyn (8).

Demi wrote in the caption of the image: “We are FAMILY!! Getting into the holiday spirit!”

Emma commented, “What a fun evening 😍❤️.”

Bruce’s current wife, Emma, later posted an old picture of Bruce, Demi, and Scout on her own Instagram story. She wrote, “The love I have for them. Thanks for sharing @scoutlaruewillis lol and your face.”

In addition to this and commenting on Demi’s shared holiday photo, Emma shared Demi’s post alongside the caption, ““Happy Holidays from our family to yours!!”

Just two months ago, Emma also shared a video set to Maren Morris’ “Bones,” which focused on her and Bruce’s two daughters and the family’s “magical” summer. Scout and Rumer are featured in much of the video, adventuring out in the woods.

Last March, Bruce Willis and his family released a joint statement announcing his stepping back from his acting career as a result of his aphasia diagnosis. This condition results in impaired cognitive abilities as a result of brain damage.

In August of 2022, Emma shared a video of herself gardening, staining wood, shadowboxing, biking, playing tennis and more. In an attempt to update the public on her and her family’s mental state on National Grief Awareness day, she captioned the video:

“This was the summer of self discovery—finding new hobbies, going out of my comfort zone and staying active. My grief can be paralyzing but I’m learning how to live alongside it.”

Emma received criticism from a multitude of people online for her post, so she responded by posting screenshots of these negative messages on her story as well.

“When you’re not allowed to talk grief, self-care, or being human in the world on grief awareness day…” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “But in the words of the great, philosophical, and insightful Bruce Willis… ‘Ah, f**k ’em.”
