The fires, which officials have warned could burn for months, have killed 28 people, more than 500 million animals and destroyed more than 2,400 homes.

An intense drought and hotter than normal temperatures are helping to fuel the fires which have destroyed 17 million acres of land.

The Australia Wildfire Fund will work with other organizations, Aussie Ark, Bush Heritage and Wires Wildfire Rescue, as reported by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Thank goodness for these high profile celebrities who are using their privileged position to do so much good in the world.

Please share to pay tribute to them all.
